Vegemite! It disgusts anyone from overseas, but I love it.

Yes they do. But you cannot understand Vegemite from a song. It is a black yeast paste, and extremely salty. If you can imagine anchovy paste made from bread instead of fish, I think it'd be like that.

I've never heard of Jarritos. Is it similar to any other more popular soda like Dr. Pepper or Coke or is it a light soda like Sprite?

We have a lot of Mexican restaurants and foods here, being so close to the boarder. Razz

it is like Fanta (which is also awesome) but it has a different taste from other sodas, a strong taste is the word that comes to mind. (jarritos means jar btw)

Marmite!! Its the British version of Vegemite but does taste a bit different. You either love it (like me) or hate it (like my friend Tony) Very Happy
It has its own website too.

Not many of you may know Slovakian national food Bryndzove Halusky (Potato dumplings-halusky with sheep cheese-bryndza), very popular for foreigners. Poppy noodles, plum knedle (balls) and many foods form other counties around Slovakia (poland, hungary, austria, czech republic, ukraine), and beer- pivo, wine- víno (slovenský- slovak bažant- pheasant bier, Tokai wine). I hope its good here.
